Fresh and clean aromas of dark fruit and red cherry at first, followed by notes of oak, vanilla, tobacco and cocoa. On the palate, the tannins are subtle with a generous dose acid. Some pepper, mushrooms, minerality and graphite at mid palate. A pleasant long finish tops this off. An elegant wine with finesse that can develop in the bottle for another year or two, though it is already starting to present levels of complexity. |
